Tax Form Filler

Tax Form Filler (“the Tax Tool”) is a software service available at dashboard.athomevi.com, owned and operated by At Home VI, LLC (“AHVI,” “we,” “us”), a US Virgin Islands limited liability company. It helps businesses prepare USVI and federal tax forms, owner statements, and compliance calendars. Because the Tax Tool handles sensitive business tax information, this section explains how we treat that data. It supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy; where this section is more specific, it controls for the Tax Tool.

1. What We Collect

When you use the Tax Tool, we collect and store:

  • Account information — your email address (which serves as your account identity), and, if you sign in through your athomevi.com membership, the account details needed to link the two.
  • Business tax data you enter — business names, addresses, revenue figures, payment amounts, payee information, property details, and other information needed to fill the tax forms you select (for example, Forms 722-VI, 720-VI, 941, and 1099-NEC).
  • Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) — stored in encrypted form on our servers.
  • Generated documents — for forms that require only an EIN (no Social Security Number), completed PDF files are generated on our servers and made available for you to download.
  • Usage and technical data — standard logs (such as sign-in times and IP addresses) used to operate and secure the service.

2. What We Never Collect on Our Servers

We do not store Social Security Numbers on our servers. Ever. Forms that require an SSN are completed using a local desktop vault that runs on your own computer. Your SSN data stays on your machine and is never transmitted to or stored by us.

3. How We Protect Your Data

  • EINs are stored encrypted.
  • Tax data is stored server-side in a managed database (PostgreSQL) hosted by our infrastructure provider, Render (Render Services, Inc.), in a United States data center region.
  • Access to production data is restricted to those who need it to operate the service.

4. Where Your Data Lives

Your Tax Tool data is hosted on servers operated by Render.com in the United States. We do not transfer Tax Tool data outside the U.S. as part of normal operations.

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep your account and tax data for as long as your account is active so you can reuse prior-year information and re-download generated forms. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited records for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

6. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your data. We do not share your tax data with advertisers. We share data only with service providers who help us run the Tax Tool:

  • Hosting — Render.com (servers and database, U.S. region).
  • Customer relationship management — new signups may be recorded in AHVI’s CRM (GoHighLevel) with a product tag so we can manage accounts and support. No marketing emails are being sent at this time; if that changes, we will follow applicable email-marketing laws and honor opt-outs.
  • Payment processing — when paid billing launches, subscription payments will be processed by a payment processor (Stripe is planned). Your payment card details will go directly to the processor; we will not store full card numbers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or our business.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may request a copy of the Tax Tool data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data. Send requests to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. Note that data stored in your local desktop vault (including any SSN data) is under your control on your own computer — we cannot access, export, or delete it for you.

8. Beta Notice

The Tax Tool is currently in an invite-only beta. Features, data practices, and this policy section may change as the product develops. We will update this section when practices change materially, and material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date.
